The Atlantic City War Memorial

The story of the World War I memorial at Ventnor and Albany Avenues in Atlantic City is one worth reviewing. It was planned in 1907 as a grand civic statement, but became the War Memorial when the city finally appropriated the necessary funds in 1920 in memory of those who served in the Armed Forces.
