Intelligent Life, a publication of The Economist magazine, has a very illuminating article on Sarajevo in the Jan/Feb 2014 issue, available on better newsstands and directly from their Website: moreintelligentlife.com.
It argues that the war still rages in people's minds in Bosnia, where there are those who argue that Franz Ferdinand's assassin is either a freedom fighter or a terrorist, depending on whom you ask. And of course, the religious/ethnic conflicts that have divided and inflamed the population over the last 100 years are as raw and unresolved as ever.
Well worth a read.

New World War 1 App for iPad with Videos, Photos and Timelines
Touchzing Media, a new iOS app development company in India, has released an iPad
app, "World War I Interactive 1.0."
With rare photos, videos, audio, interactive timelines, and articles, a user can read about the major battles, events and leaders of the First World War in detail. Interactive timelines cover events leading to the war, every year of the War, and post-war events.
I assume the Treaty of Versailles is given appropriate treatment, but there was no mention of it in the material I reviewed. Price is $4.99.
